Murphy is recruiting for a SHES Administrator  to work with the Occupational Health team at our Stonecross office in Wigan. 


Operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the USA, Murphy provides better engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, power and natural resources. So that our teams out on projects can run smoothly it is vital that we have robust support functions in place.

A day in the life of a Murphy Occupational Health Administrator

  • Maintain confidentiality of Occupational Health information at all times
  • Input all new starter information on a weekly basis onto internal and external systems
  • Process leaver information on a weekly basis onto internal and external systems
  • Review and action information received from Pre Placement Questionnaires
  • Upload medical information onto internal employee system
  • Update databases with medical expiry information
  • Liaise with Site Management to arrange Safety Critical Medicals and Health Surveillance appointments
  • Liaise with external Occupational Health provider to arrange and confirm medical appointments.
  • Liaise with Line Managers in relation to medical outcomes for employees
  • Arrange Rail specific medicals
  • Arrange random Drug & Alcohol Testing for project and office locations
  • Involvement with producing collateral for Wellbeing Campaigns
  • Promoting Health and Wellbeing across the business.
  • Liaising with the People Team in relation to sick absence.
