Murphy is recruiting for a Administrator to work with Natural Resources on St Fergus Gas terminal

We maintain, operate, modify, design, construct and commission new energy networks and facilities across four countries; guiding our customers through the challenges of the energy transition and supporting their commitments to achieve net zero emissions. We provide safe and reliable specialist services as a trusted Engineering, Procure, Fabrication, Maintain and Decommissioning (EPFCM&D) partner. This includes work with onshore and offshore oil, gas pipelines, gas diversions and renewable energies.

 

A day in the life of a Murphy Administrator

  • Provide high quality customer service in all communications with internal and external clients.
  • Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records.
  • Produce correspondence, documents and presentations to specification using a variety of media.
  • Maintain established paper and computer-based filing systems.
  • Conduct financial duties, for example, processing invoices or tracking costs.
  • Data input, including submission of site timesheets
  • Coordination of office supplies and suppliers, i.e milk, stationary etc.
  • Work in accordance with established processes and provide feedback on their effectiveness.

  • Experience of working in a Office / General administration support role.
  • Knowledge of operating office equipment and IT, e.g., telephone, computer with standard software, copier, printers etc. to access, input and verify information.
  • Literate and Numerate with proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
  • Must be able to multi talk and work to a high level of accuracy, comfortable working on a construction site.
  • Experience within the construction industry is desirable, but not essential.
  • This is a site based role.
