Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with our Transportation & Infrastructure team in Dublin Port (Hybrid role).

What you will be doing:
- Prepare bottom‑up forecasts at contract award stage.
- Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
- Draft supply chain ITTs and terms of engagement.
- Ensure accurate month‑end cost records and project accruals.
- Maintain Cost‑to‑Complete and Risk Registers.
- Prepare monthly CVRs and other required project reports.
- Maximise cash position, including WIP control and cash‑flow planning.
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
- Lead cost control and cost‑mitigation activities.
- Measure quantities in line with standard methods of measurement.
- Prepare valuations/applications for payment with full supporting documentation.
- Administer contracts, manage change, and maintain commercial registers.
- Manage subcontractor/supplier accounts through to final agreement.
Qualifications, experience & skills:
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics (RICS Accredited)
- Desirable - Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent.
- Full driving license.
- Commercially astute.
- Excellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and CESSM4 method of Measurement
- 5+ years Experience.
- Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others.
- Programming techniques, project controls, risk analysis, contract admin, procurement, cost, claims.
- Marine & Civils experience would be a distinct advantage
