Murphy is recruiting for a SHES Advisor to support infrastructure projects in the South, based out of our London office.

A day in the life of a SHES Advisor: 
•    Assisting in maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and to ensure continued compliance with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 9001.
•    Carrying out inductions
•    Producing monthly statistics
•    Champion Culture Development Programme (behaviour-based safety programme)
•    Carry out and document site audits and inspections.
•    Keeping up to date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and
•    construction industry guidance.
•    Ensuring personnel on site have the pre-requisite training records.
•    Investigating, logging, and monitoring of Incidents and Non-conformances
•    Completing all necessary report forms
•    Identifying significant safety impacts for work areas and helping set-up of appropriate controls
•    Ensure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily available.
•    Prepare and present toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.
•    Review subcontractor documentation.

•    Higher Diploma in Health & Safety
•    Minimum of 3 years relevant experience on civils and renewables projects.
•    Solar Farm Construction experience advantageous.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams.
•    Good IT skills with a high attention to detail
•    A flexible and proactive approach
•    Demonstrate leadership skill
