Murphy is recruiting for a SHES Administrator to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, Uxbridge Moor Project.

A day in the life of a Murphy SHES Administrator:

  • Provide administrative support in safety, health, environmental, sustainability and quality (SHESQ) matters in conjunction with the SHESQ department.
  • Provide information to Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHESQ of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by Legislation and Company Procedures.
  • Disseminate information issued by Murphy SHESQ to relevant employees.
  • Collate Business Unit / Contract SHESQ statistics in a timely manner and submit to the SHESQ team & SHESQ Department for reporting purposes
  • Support and provide information to site teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Construction SHESQ Plans.
  • Review SHESQ statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.  
  • Help develop and implement Project / SHESQ  campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the SHESQ Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of project SHESQ documents including those of 3rd parties.
  • Provide support to Project teams as required for administrative purposes.
  • Ensure control and storage of SHESQ and associated documentation.
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Legislation, Company procedures and Contract Requirements
  • Provide reports, presentations and information as directed by the Business Unit / SHESQ Manager
  • Support the Business Unit/ SHESQ Manager in the administration of the Audit Programmes.
  • Providing administration support for pre-qualification, tender and SHESQ award submissions.

  • Experience of working in a Office / General administration support role.
  • Knowledge of SHES / Health & Safety is advantageous
  • Literate and Numerate with proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
  • Experience within the construction industry is desirable, but not essential.
