Resourcing Advisor –

Onboarding, Contracts, Compliance and Emerging Talent

 

Role purpose

The Resourcing Advisor will coordinate the onboarding of weekly paid and monthly paid employees into Murphy, ensuring that candidates have a positive experience and that all required documentation, system information and pre-employment activities are completed accurately and on time.

Alongside day-to-day onboarding, the role will have responsibility for employment contract governance, onboarding compliance and audits, Success Factors data and document accuracy and contracting and onboarding support for Emerging Talent programmes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider recruitment, emerging talent and onboarding teams.

 

Key responsibilities

Onboarding

Lead the day-to-day onboarding of weekly and monthly paid employees, ensuring a smooth, accurate and timely experience from offer acceptance through to commencement.

  • Act as a key point of contact for candidates and new starters throughout onboarding.
  • Coordinate documentation, pre-employment requirements and Success Factors records within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding trackers and follow up outstanding actions with candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve or escalate onboarding risks, delays and incomplete information.
  • Provide cross-cover across the onboarding team to maintain service delivery during busy periods and absences.

 

Contracts and compliance

  • Own and maintain Murphy’s approved employment contracts for weekly paid, monthly paid and Emerging Talent populations.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and updates to ensure templates remain current, legally reviewed and aligned with approved business requirements.
  • Maintain approved contract templates in Success Factors, including version control, approval records and archiving of obsolete documents.
  • Provide clear guidance to the Recruitment and Emerging Talent teams on selecting and using the correct approved contracts.
  • Audit issued contracts against approved offers, Success Factors and payroll information, coordinating corrective action where discrepancies arise.
  • Escalate non-standard terms, contractual exceptions, legislative interpretation and material risks to the appropriate People or legal owner.

 

Audits and data quality

  • Audit onboarding, contract and Success Factors records, correcting data or compliance issues identified.
  • Maintain accurate audit records and report on onboarding completion, contract accuracy and exceptions.
  • Track corrective actions to completion, escalate recurring issues and recommend improvements to controls and processes.

 

Emerging Talent support

  • Coordinate contracting and onboarding for Emerging Talent cohorts, maintaining plans, key dates and status updates.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure cohorts are onboarding ready, resolving or escalating outstanding actions.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for Emerging Talent activities, including bookings, training, apprenticeships, placements, outreach initiatives and careers events.

 

Qualifications and experience

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience within recruitment, HR, onboarding or People Operations.
  • Previous experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, HR administration, contracts administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence following up outstanding information and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Experience using a HR, recruitment or applicant tracking system.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience using Success Factors or a similar HR system would be an advantage.
  • Experience supporting employment contracts, compliance checks, audits or controlled documentation would be beneficial.
  • Experience supporting graduates, apprentices, interns or placement students would be an advantage.
  • A full Irish driving licence, as travel to Murphy sites may be required.
