Job Title:  Plant Hire Controller

Murphy is recruiting for a Plant Hire Controller to work with Murphy Plant in Newbridge Co. Kildare.

We manage and maintain more than £100 million worth of innovative, best in-class plant, transport and specialist equipment and our work spans multiple sectors. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Interact with Company Projects Teams on the phone and on email, regarding hire orders and quotations
  • Create hire contracts based on the Company Project requirements
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager on all activities
  • Effectively interact with other departments including logistics, accounts and the workshop to ensure the customers’ needs are fulfilled
  • Continuously developing product knowledge of our fleet whilst keeping up to date with changes and advancements
  • Input data accurately on the in-house (Syrinx) system

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of Plant and Machinery is a distinct advantage
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Work on own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Highly IT proficient
  • Excellent attention to detail
