Murphy is recruiting for a People Shared Service Centre Administrator to work within the People Shared Service Centre in Leeds.

A day in the life of a Senior People Shared Services Centre Administrator:
- Act as a first point of people contact for all employee’s, answering queries on process and policy where possible and referring to the Shared Service Centre Manager lead where a more comprehensive response is required.
- Manage a volume of telephone and e-mail enquiries as well as queries made in person via the Shared Service Centre Mailbox – ensuring accurate and timely responses at all times
- Liaise with employees and line managers as required and in a timely manner, dealing with day to day enquiries and problem solve where possible.
- Day to day responsibility for the administration tasks of all people functions, utilising and administering as required within the People management system
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry onto people systems – ensuring the ongoing integrity of data.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times (Data Protection) – including emails, letters and filing etc.
- Provide management information when requested.
- Ensure that all requests have been correctly approved and are processed within the agreed timescales e.g. Contract change requests / car authorisations / new starter information etc.
- Support the reconciliation of payroll adjustments for both weekly paid and salaried staff.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times (Data Protection) – including emails, letters and filing etc.

- Proven track record of providing People/HR administrative support to a large, multi-site, multi-disciplined business.
- Experience of running HR Processes (Stat payments / Maternity / Payroll / payment plans etc.)
- Experience of working within a HR/confidential environment.
- Potential requirement to travel to sites/offices as and when required.
- Ability to prioritise of own workload in a busy office environment
