Murphy is recruiting for a Tax Accountant to work with our Finance team in Newbridge.

What you will be doing:
- VAT/CIS/RCT/Intrastat/ERR/CT/46G returns
- Review tax heads each quarter, Employee Benefits/VAT/Subcontractors/CT
- Manage the month end process with external tax advisors to complete the corporation tax computation and deferred tax calculations
- Reviewing employee benefits for subsistence (taxable and non taxable) and advising on new and existing employee terms and conditions
- Reviewing subcontractors to ensure we are compliant with legislation
- Reviewing cross border workers to ensure we have employees on the correct payroll, shadow payroll if necessary
- Understanding of CBAM reporting
- Understanding of Transfer Pricing
- Supporting land and property Acquisitions
- New system implementation
What we are looking for:
- Qualified tax exams, preferably top ten or through construction company
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and tax reporting
- Minimum two years Construction experience
- Ability to work with finance, commercial, and project teams to ensure tax compliance across projects
