Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator to work with our Finance team in Newbridge.

Main Purpose of Role:
To ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining payroll records in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll, including hours, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including starters, leavers, pay changes, annual leave, and bank details.
- Process statutory deductions, pension contributions, and benefits.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and statutory filings within required deadlines.
- Complete weekly payroll reconciliations and support month-end and year-end activities.
- Manage the payroll inbox and respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
- Assist with payroll audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation.
- Liaise with Site Administrators and HR to ensure all payroll changes are received before payroll cut-off dates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll, finance administration, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of payroll processes, tax, and pension requirements.
- Experience using payroll software such as MegaPay, SAP, or similar systems.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.

IPASS qualification or currently studying towards a payroll qualification is desirable.

Experience processing payroll across multiple sites is desirable.

Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment is desirable.
