Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and assist with the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, learning and methods for highlighting and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations or materials from unauthorised disclosure, misuse, theft, or loss.
- Responsible for embedding a pro-active security culture, mitigating the negative impact of adversarial risk within sites and for protecting the project, people, assets and information. This incorporates assuring that supply chain partners deliver their work scope to contractual and site security requirements.
- Coordination and production of threat/risk assessments and physical security site plans and operations to ensure protection of all employees, visitors, clients, physical plant, assets, and infrastructure.
- Provide site physical security support, best practice, advising on security control measures (such as guarding and / or CCTV), general guidance to project teams and coordination for central reporting.
- Provide security support and guidance to project teams and clients to manage protest activity and similar demonstrations that could have an adverse effect on the operations.
- Undertake and administrate security related investigations including allegations of theft, fraud and gross misconduct.
- Serve as a point of contact for Employee Relations and Legal team for security related investigations.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Corporate Security, Military or Law Enforcement or other relevant security fields
- Experience in security risk management, including risk assessment, mitigation strategies and incident response
- Experience in leading and conducting security operations including physical security and investigations.
- Able to develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
