Murphy is recruiting a SHES Administrator to work in our office in Cookstown, Dublin.

A day in the life of a Murphy SHES Administrator:

 

  • Provide administrative support in Safety, Health, Environmental, Sustainability and Quality (SHESQ) matters, in conjunction with the SHESQ Department.
  • Provide information to Managers and Supervisors to enable them to discharge their SHESQ responsibilities to employees and others, as defined by legislation and company procedures.
  • Disseminate information issued by Murphy SHESQ to relevant employees.
  • Collate SHESQ statistics in a timely manner and submit to the SHESQ team for reporting purposes.
  • Support site teams by providing information to ensure compliance with the requirements set out in Construction SHESQ Plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of project SHESQ documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and information as directed by the SHESQ Manager in support of Audit Programmes.
  • Provide administrative support for pre‑qualification, tender and SHESQ award submissions.
  • Liaise with Site Management to arrange Occupational Health medicals.
  • Arrange random Drug & Alcohol Testing for project and office locations.
  • Liaise with the People Team in relation to sick absence.
  • Support the production of materials and collateral for Wellbeing Campaigns.

  • Experience working in an office or general administrative support role.
  • Knowledge of SHES / Health & Safety is advantageous.
  • Literate and numerate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
  • Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A good team player, with the ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills.
