Murphy is delivering major electricity transmission infrastructure projects across the north of Scotland for SSEN Transmission as part of the Pathway to 2030 programme.

 

Backed by more than £29 billion of investment in the UK electricity transmission network, Ofgem’s Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework is accelerating the delivery of critical infrastructure, including new substations, overhead lines, underground cables and HVDC links, to connect renewable energy generation, increase network capacity, and support the UK’s net zero and energy security ambitions by 2030.

 

What your day will include:

· Carry out groundwork activities in alignment with project specifications and deadlines.

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives.

 

What we need from you:

· Relevant tickets to carry out the role.

· Proven experience in groundwork with a focus on power / energy projects

· Proficient operation of relevant heavy machinery and equipment.

· In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Flexibility to travel and stay away from home.

· UK driving licence.
