Murphy is recruiting for a Estimator to work with Water on the Thames Water Framework. 

We provide end-to-end services for major water and sewage companies such as Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, Northern Ireland Water, Yorkshire Water and United Utilities, and for several water-only companies including SES Water, Bristol Water and South East Water.
We also provide a full design, build, operate and maintain service for Uisce Éireann and we currently operate over 25 of their facilities, ensuring they run efficiently and comply fully with EPA regulations.

A day in the life of a Murphy Estimator

• Be the primary lead on a large-scale programme of works
• Drive best practice throughout the function and into the wider bid structure
• Maintain procedures and systems for the estimating department
• Produce enquiry schedules for scope of works & packages required from the tender documentation, drawings and specifications issued
• Identify tender deliverables required
• Evaluate returned quotations from suppliers and where necessary enter correspondence with suppliers to bring quotations in line with the project specification requirements

• Proven successful estimating experience in civil engineering
• Experienced in bottom up pricing
