Murphy is recruiting for a Finance Analyst to work with our Finance team in Dublin.

What you will be doing:

  • The role is to prepare reports, analyse expenses, analyse profitability and provide actionable insights to senior management :
  • Expenses Reporting – Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual expense reports tracking to budget and prior year
  • Expenses Controller – Review, tracking and reporting of expenses to specific projects to enable more control and oversight on what is being spent
  • System Reports – Create a suite of reports for key users to be able to access – Outstanding Purchase Orders, Open Projects, All Transactions. Avoids all staff members creating their own reports and should help alleviate system downtime with less people accessing systems
  • Ad-Hoc Data reviews – Deep-dive into data across Finance and seek to review, clean-up and implement a robust process to ensure the data updated and can be relied on for reporting
  • Forecasting / Budgets – Help with annual forecasts/budgets

 

This is a newly create role required due to the increased business (revenues, staff) across Murphy Ireland

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Intermediate level in Excel is essential (ability to deal with large volumes of data)
  • A degree in Finance or accounting would be desirable
