Murphy is recruiting for a Assistant SHESQ Advisor to work with our Transportation & Infrastructure team in Dublin.

Responsibilities
- To assist the SHESQ Advisor in the implementation of Group SHESQ Management Systems and provide SHESQ advice and support to employees.
- Establish and promote best practice in safety, health, environmental, sustainability and quality (SHESQ) matters in conjunction with the SHESQ function
- Assist the SHESQ team in providing advice and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHESQ of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by Legislation and Company Procedures
- Assist the SHESQ team to ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
- Support site SHESQ teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Construction SHESQ Plans
- Undertake & assist the SHESQ team in carrying out regular inspections of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions
Skills required:
- Some experience of the Construction, Development or Property Services market would be advantageous
- Some experience in a SHESQ Role
- Good understanding of SHESQ legislation relevant to the construction industry
- Working understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
- MS & other package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow with the role
