Murphy is recruiting for a Administrator to join our growing Infrastructure team, delivering a major water infrastructure project in partnership with United Utilities, as part of the AMP8 programme.
Murphy is a long-standing delivery partner to leading water clients across the UK and Ireland, including Thames Water, Severn Trent, Northern Ireland Water, Yorkshire Water, SES Water, Bristol Water, South East Water, and Uisce Éireann, where we operate over 25 facilities under full DBOM contracts.
A day in the life of a Murphy Administrator:
- General office management.
- Maintenance of all filing systems, manual and electronic.
- Coordination of meetings, facilities & catering.
- Collation of allocation sheets, reports, inspections.
- Managing and organising training, records, medicals, D&A testing.
- Compilation of data for month end reporting.
- Assistance with production of progress slides for reporting.

- Experience in a professional Document Control department
- Experience of the Infrastructure / Civil / Engineering / Construction industry
- Some working knowledge of the construction industry
- Knowledge and experience of operating IT systems, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access and/or Electronic Document Management Systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise etc
- Previous experience guiding and mentoring others
- A real can-do attitude, and professional outlook and positive influencer
