Manage SHES systems, data and digital performance. Own system governance, data integrity and reporting outputs to ensure the business has clear, accurate and actionable insight.
A day in the life of a Murphy SHES ( group) Manager
- Own and manage core SHES digital platforms, including EcoOnline (212), MSite, TapRoot and Sypol
- Set system standards, structure and governance to ensure consistency across the business
- Manage SHES data integrity across all systems, ensuring records are accurate, complete and up to date
- Set expectations for data quality and compliance across projects and business units
- Manage production of key outputs including Board reporting, Balanced Scorecard, IWI reporting, EROC and SPAG reporting
- Maintain a reporting schedule that ensures submission deadlines, review and completion of key reports – make this available and accessible to SHES Centre SLT
- Oversee SHES Team Talk slides and ensure they are complete and available ahead of each session
- Manage development and maintenance of EcoOnline dashboards and reporting tools
- Manage rollout and embedment of systems across projects, including MSit
- Oversee system administration activities including user management, workflow setup and project creation
- Manage system structures, induction content and onboarding data
- Own governance and performance of TapRoot, including user management and incident record compliance
- Own governance and performance of Sypol, including assessment management, system limits and controls
- Advise and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHES of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by
- Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
- Support management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the SHES Plans.
- Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and workplaces (if required to) in order to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company
- Assist with accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences.
- Collate Business / Contract SHES statistics in a timely manner and submit to the SHES Management & SHES function for reporting purposes.
- Review SHES information to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement SHES campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the SHES
- Assist in the preparation & review of project SHES documents including those of 3rd parties.
- Provide support to Project teams in the development of SHES Plans.
- Identify significant SHES issues for contracts / yards and help set-up contracts / yards to include appropriate controls.
- Provide reports, presentations and information as directed by the Business / SHES Management.
- Support the Business / SHES Management in the delivery of the Audit Programme.
- Undertake SHES audits as required.
- Providing input into pre-qualification, tender and SHES award submissions.
- Stopping work with the agreement of the SHES / Site / Project Management at any time SHES management of the works is in question.

- Experience in a Construction System and Performance role

- In depth SharePoint user & build knowledge
- Strong data skills: validation, cleansing, dashboard/report building (Excel/Power BI).
- Confident communicator and trainer—able to support site teams and office users.
- In depth Microsoft package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project, PowerBI)
